Raising a Flock

Chickens and other birds you raise will live and lay eggs in the coop. More chickens can either be purchased through the ledger, or hatched by incubating Fertilized Eggs.

Bird Feed

Place Bird Feed directly in the feed bin of the coop and the birds will come when they're hungry. Ringing the bell outside the coop also lets them roam and graze in the pasture, which can save you a bundle on feed!

Top-Quality Eggs

Just like barn animals, chickens produce higher-quality byproducts if they're happy and healthy. Snuggle your chickens to raise their affection towards you, and let them roam outside when the weather is nice to keep them healthy.

Hatching Eggs

If a male and female bird of the same type are kept in the same coop, they can produce a Fertilized Egg. Place it in an incubator or allow the parent to sit on it to help it hatch into a baby chick.
