Raising a Herd

The barn on your farm can be used to house animals like cows and sheep, which in turn can produce milk, wool, and other products. Animals can be obtained by purchasing them through the ledger or by breeding two of your own animals.

Feeding Fodder

Cows need to eat Fodder twice per day, while other animals eat once per day. You can either fill their feeder, or hand-feed your animals directly. Ringing the bell outside the barn will call the animals out to pasture, allowing them to graze on the tall grass outside. Feed them Fodder+ as a special treat!

Horse Riding

Riding on horseback will get you 'round town much faster than on foot. They're a farmer's best friend when it comes to gettin' the lay of the land.

Farm-Fresh Quality

Keep your animals happy and healthy and they'll produce higher-quality byproducts. Snuggle them to raise their affection towards you, brush them to keep their coats shiny and healthy, and let them out to pasture to decrease stress. Just keep an eye on the sky, as letting them out in bad weather can stress them out more!

Animal Breeding

To breed your animals, you'll need a male and female of the same species, or select "Order Breeding" from the ledger. Be sure to isolate the pregnant female right before she gives birth to keep her and the baby safe.

Mother's Milk

Feed baby animals their Mother's Milk for up to three days after they're born. Not only will it help 'em grow, but it'll also strengthen their bond with you.
